Great Strides Walk for Cystic Fibrosis at 10:00am Sunday May 27th, 2012 at Memorial Park, Brockville.

Cystic fibrosis (CF) is the most common, fatal genetic disease affecting Canadian children and young adults and the number one cause of death for Canadians under 25 & there is no cure for cystic fibrosis.
CF is a multi-organ disease, primarily affecting the lungs and digestive system.

The 7th Annual Chip In For Youth Golf Tournament

Girls Inc. Announces Fifth Annual Golf Tournament

LEEDS AND GRENVILLE – The fifth annual Girls Incorporated Golf Tournament is scheduled for Friday, July 13th at the Prescott Golf Club. The tournament follows a scramble format, opening rain or shine with a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. and wrapping up with dinner in the evening.

The registration fee is $80 ($50 for members of the Prescott Golf Club). Each golfer will have a chance to win some great prizes. All golfers are welcome. Last year’s tournament drew 115 golfers, and organizers hope to see a full tournament of 144 golfers turn out this year. Participants can register as an individual, a pair or a foursome.
